The Making of a Nation

In the turning of the Hebrews into a nation, god leads them on a journey of numerous events. They were Gods special people, who would get closer to the Lord than any other people. Although these people were filled with all kind of sin, these were the people God had promised Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph that he would keep.

The Exodus

During the Exodus, the Israelites are just getting to know how sinewy the God of their fathers is. by means of the Passover and the event at the Sea of Reeds, Gods shows his screw and attempts to gain the trust of the Israelites. Although challenged by their inconsistent trust for him slice waiting for his deliverance, he was determined to show them his military forces. Through the awe-inspiring deaths of all first born not protected by the blood, and splitting the Red Sea while they stood in doubt. Through Moses, God performs these things also showing him as a loss leader how great he is through trust.

After the Israelites despoil the Sea of Reeds, they arrive at Mt. Sinai. Here, God reveals his plans for the Israelites, and gives them their purpose.
